Leave a CommentNow you can pick our fresh Hidden Harvest blend of coffee, using your morning brew to support local food rescue! This very special blend of beans is now available for a limited time online and at Bridgehead Coffeehouses across Ottawa.
“Combining the far North and far South coffees of Peru, this blend offers a sweet and nutty aroma with a slight smokiness resulting in a flavorful and unique cup of coffee”. This coffee is also fairly traded, organic, shade-grown goodness. The Hidden Harvest Blend is available through Bridgehead’s online store and at your neighbourhood Bridgehead location.
As a fundraiser blend, Bridgehead will be donating $1 for every pound sold of the Hidden Harvest Blend to Hidden Harvest Ottawa. Our goal is to purchase 5 new community harvest bins of equipment from the proceeds of this coffee!

about how you and your neighbours can get started finding your Hidden Harvest this year.
Join us for this short event if you’re curious to learn more about Hidden Harvest, our harvest events, our food tree search, future workshops, and if you’re keen to help out.
Some questions we will be answering:
- What is Hidden Harvest’s urban food harvesting model?
- What can you do to activate harvest events in your community?
- What is involved in becoming a volunteer Harvester, or a Neighbourhood Leader?
We’d also love to hear other ways you see yourself getting involved.
